A 6000 series bearing is a Popular Metric Ball Bearing with one row of steel balls
contained within a Steel Cage. Our 6000 series ball bearings are sold with a choice of
rubber or metal seals. Rubber sealed bearings are known as 2RS or just RS and have
have two contact rubber seals, one on each side of the bearing. Metal shielded bearings are known as 2ZZ, ZZ or simply Z and have two non contact metal shields, one on each
side of the bearing or Open bearings with no seals. Listed below are the dimensions of
